The Match Control input tab allows the user to control the limits that PT Expansion will use when attempting to match experimental muzzle velocity and/or action time. Because our first objective is a baseline run, we need only be concerned with the nominal values. The program uses the nominal values rather than starting there and iterating within the limits set on this page.

On the screen capture below the inputs for our baseline run are pointed out. Note:

• The two factors are set to 1 because we want the nominal result.
• The offset is 0 because we want the nominal result.
• The Base Pressure F Constant is 3.5 which in our example was previously entered for a Baer Frankel run. There is guidance in the PRODAS Technical Manual concerning this parameter.
